Adam Eckersley is a multi-award winning singer, guitarist and songwriter from Grafton, Australia. He is the former vocalist and lead guitarist of award-winning blues band Bluezone, which have since disbanded. Eckersley graduated from the CMAA Australian College Of Country Music in 1998. He also reached the top 24 of Australian Idol 2009 on Network Ten.[1] Eckersley is married to fellow musician, Australian country music singer–songwriter Brooke McClymont, of The McClymonts.

Early life

Born and raised in Grafton, Australia and later moved to Tamworth, New South Wales as a teenager. Eckersley currently resides on the Central Coast, New South Wales.

Career

Eckersley has been playing professionally for many years and was the 2008 ambassador for the Australian Blues Music Festival.[2] Eckersley is sponsored by Fender Australia and Lee Oskar Harmonicas. Eckersley reached the top 24 of Australian Idol 2009 on Network Ten.

In early 2010, Eckersley formed a 5 piece group named the Adam Eckersley Band whom are currently songwriting and performing numerous shows across the New South Wales east coast of Australia.

Eckersley is currently accompanying The McClymonts on their 2011 US tour, performing alongside them as rhythm guitarist.
